At my last doctor appointment, we were told to get ready. Twins are especially unpredictable on when they make their debut into this world, so today I am sharing what I am packing for the hospital.
Please keep in mind that my chances of having a natural birth are very very low, therefore I am going in with the mentality that I will be having a c-section and be in the hospital for a minimum of 3 days.

HOLD UP- WHAT? I’M BRINGING MAKEUP TO THE HOSPITAL?! — YES. No, that does not make me super high maintenance, I am keeping it to a bare minimum. I look like a train hit me without makeup, so add some exhaustion to the mix… not a pretty sight. I am hoping to achieve a look that says “radiant new mother” rather than “zombie hot mess mama”
This week marks my first week on holidays before our baby boys make an appearance! I took about a month off prior to my maternity leave to enjoy the calm before the storm and get more prep work done. Having a baby(babies), is kind of over whelming in a way. I feel this “pressure” to be 100% prepared and make motherhood look effortless. Should I feel this way? No. Is it realistic? No. However, I am pushing myself to be able to give my kiddos the best things in life, and that, I don’t feel should be an unrealistic goal.
Okay, so back to beauty. Yesterday I went out to the mall and popped in at Sephora telling myself that I would not be buying anything to save money. Yeah, well, that lasted a whole 10 seconds of being in Sephora. As per usual.
I wanted to share some of the items that I purchased. These are actually all new products to me so I don’t have any reviews on these products, but I will do a post with a review soon!
I am currently looking for a lifestyle blogger that may be new to the scene (just like me), or someone who would like to start a blog, and would be willing to work together! I am currently looking for someone who would be willing to help with taking photo content for my blog. In the same breath, I would be more than willing to do the same in return.
If you are interested or know someone who would be interested in this opportunity, please email me at: email@example.com
Having my addiction to Sephora, I happened to pop in there the other day and these instantly caught my eye. I am always on the hunt for good masks, and I figured, for $5 how could you go wrong?
The only one not pictured above that I did already try was the Rose Face Mask (it is a sheet) that targets moisturizing and brightening. I have mentioned this in previous posts that my skin type seems to be different day-to-day thanks to my pregnancy hormones, so having a mixture of different masks to try that target different areas is a great idea for me!
The night I purchased these, I decided to try the Rose face mask. It was SO good. My skin looked so much brighter the next day and felt amazing. I HIGHLY recommend these face masks. Again, you really cannot beat the price either!
Here are the links where you can check out the different masks available:
First and foremost, Krista is one of the cutest moms ever! She is one of my favourites to follow on social media because all you see is pure love. Especially when it comes to her family! When it comes to style, between her and her kids, they look nothing less than perfect!
This girl is super real. And what I mean when I say that is she doesn’t sugar coat! She posts all about motherhood even the not-so-glam moments to let everyone know that she is a REAL person. I am totally drawn to her blog and social media because she comes across as a friend that tells you the truth. Not a lot of people in this world are like that anymore, and it’s a serious breath of fresh air. This woman is the BEST!
Take one good look at her social media and tell me that she doesn’t have one of the cutest families you’ve ever seen! Again, this is a mama that shows you can do it all and still be put together! I absolutely adore her!!
This woman hustles hard! She runs her own business (which you can shop here), a gorgeous blog and nonetheless is a wife and a mother. She does it all and makes it look so easy. Her brand ILY Couture hands down has the cutest items that any woman would love to have and her style she reflects on her blog is nothing short of classy and sophisticated. She is one of my ultimate girl crushes and her story inspires me to work hard for the things that I want.

Over the past few months I have had a major struggle with my skin. One day my face is super dry and I look like I’m a reptile, then the next I’m an oily teenager again. Needless to say I have been trying new products and I can finally share my new secret weapon to my skincare routine.
The first product I purchased is the St Ives Oatmeal Scrub & Mask. I haven’t tried this product out yet, so I will keep you all posted when I do!
I had read a few reviews on the Ponds Moisturizer and decided to give it a shot – honestly… it’s not for me. It didn’t help me with my new redness problem that I didn’t know existed, so I’m not overly excited about this product. I do however LOVE their makeup remover wipes. Those are a new fave of mine!
Okay so the “expensive” stuff. Caudalie. The pink tube picture above is my new skincare secret weapon. I used it for two days and noticed my skin’s redness issue was disappearing and my skin didn’t get super oily or super dry throughout the day. I was SHOCKED. I have been using this product twice a day. Once in the morning before makeup, and once before bed. I’m not overly crazy about the scent of this product but it’s so worth it.
The second Caudalie product you see pictured is a grape water spray. It is a super intense hydrating product so for me it’s PERFECT when it’s warm out. I can cool myself off with a spray of this product and it won’t affect my makeup! You can use this as a setting spray if you want to as well. It is a great price point and has so many skincare beneficial factors! If you have’t tried this out, I highly recommend it.
I couldn’t resist trying out these L’Oreal Infallible Matte Liquid Lips. You guys know how much I am obsessing over liquid lipsticks these days. These aren’t the greatest for long-wear, they do smudge pretty easily but I do love how the formula feels when it’s on.
The Essence Make Me Brow I heard is a dupe for the Benefit Gimme Brow so I wanted to give it a shot! I have yet to try it, so again – I’ll keep you updated.
Hope you guys enjoyed this post!

Today I will be sharing with you my sunless tanning routine
This summer will be a bit different for me not being able to be outside a lot in the heat, so I am opting for the next best thing – a bronzed summer look without the sun!
I have been researching different products for sunless tanning to try, and the St Tropez brand was one that constantly popped up. I figured it was worth a shot to try, so here are my results/thoughts!
The product in the St Tropez line that I used was this. I showered after an hour and a half since I was a little skeptical at first to have streaks, or turn orange. (NEITHER OF THESE WORRIES HAPPENED)
Follow the instructions, and make sure your skin is exfoliated well before applying the mousse. Make sure to moisturize in the following days to help your tan last. Als0 – it does not fade out weird either!! I would mystic tan a lot when I was younger and I was constantly noticing weird fade spots so this was something I was looking for and did not experience.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a healthy bronzed look. You can say that I am hooked!!
I hope you enjoyed this post!
